The Game's Afoot by Ken Ludwig
Directed by Amanda Smothers
The show takes place in December 1936 and surrounds real-life Broadway star William Gillette (although the show is completely fabricated and set in the year the real Gillette died), known for his iconic leading role in the play Sherlock Holmes. Gillette has invited his fellow cast-members to his Connecticut castle for a Christmas holiday weekend. Festivities don’t go as planned, however, when one of the guests is stabbed to death. Antics in the isolated mansion quickly turn perilous, and Gillette assumes the persona of Sherlock Holmes to discover which of his guests is the killer … before the next victim gets the knife! Non-stop danger and hilarity!
